Local duo Mikey Moon and Siobhan Nobile are taking part in a 24-hour event in aid of our matchday sponsors MIND Charity on Saturday 9 March.
The event will see the duo run two miles every hour for an entire day, with all the money raised going straight to the EFL’s official charity partner. In doing this they are raising awareness for the charity, something that is very close to both of their hearts for different reasons.
Mikey told the club ahead of the day: “We wanted to do something big for this charity, to get people talking about the subject as well as donating to it.
"Most people have been affected by mental health either directly or indirectly at some stage of their lives, so we believe the work that MIND does for people is critical.
“We would love it if you could donate any amount to the charity, and if you can’t donate you can help by just sharing our challenge with your friends and showing your support with messages.”
This fundraising event will take place from 8am on Saturday March 9, and will run all the way through to the 10th at 8am finishing at Fortitude Fitness. You can donate HERE.
