Fleetwood Town International Football Academy has joined forces with Fortitude Fitness, allowing players to enhance their game off the pitch within state-of-the-art facilities.

On Tuesday's, the players have strength and conditioning sessions, followed by yoga and pilates on a Thursday which supports their recovery from matches played on a Wednesday.
Fortitude Fitness are also showing their support for Fleetwood Town Football Club after recently signing up as their new 50-50 matchday draw sponsor.
Mick Horsfall, FTIFA’s Operations Manager, said: “I have known the Fortitude management team professionally for a long time and wanted to use their skills for the benefit of the players on our programme.
“We feel it’s a stimulating environment for the players to use other facilities and work with other coaches and professionals, and it supports Fleetwood Town’s ethos when seeing these boys applying themselves and conducting themselves so well in the local community.
“They are ambassadors for Fleetwood Town, their clubs back home and their families, and they should all be proud of what they’re achieving both on and off the pitch.”
Professional fitness training is a key part of FTIFA’s programme delivery, and this rounded approach ensures the highest level of programme delivery and helps FTIFA cement their place as the number one player development programme in the world.
