Fleetwood Town's Business Club took on Fortitude Fitness in a charity game at Poolfoot Farm at the weekend, with all profits going to the local Trinity Hospice.

In what was an end-to-end game, with plenty of fans in attendance, both sides played out an exciting match at the club's training complex, which saw the charity come-away winners as £700 was raised on the day. If you would like to donate, click HERE.

With a mix of Fleetwood Town staff and club partners on show on the afternoon, it was one for the fans as they cheered them on from start to finish, with a few funny moments during the 90 minutes causing the crowd the shout and laugh!

After the event, Town’s Commercial Executive, Sam Heaney, said: “It was an honour for our Business Club to play a part in raising money for such a great cause, and a local one at that! We thoroughly enjoyed the game, congratulations to Fortitude on their win!”

Mikey Moon, Director at Fortitude Fitness added: “It was a fantastic day all in the name of raising money for Trinity Hospice. I would like to thank everyone who came and played or supported on the day. To raise such an amazing amount of money for charity has really blown us away!

“I’d also like to give a special thank you to Sam Heaney from Fleetwood Town and Poolfoot Farm for helping us organise the event.”

It was great work from all involved – a final thanks goes out to Tim Brice for being the official photographer for the day to capture the action.

It was a great event and one we hope to conduct more like this again soon! If you are interested in organising a fixture with our Business Club, please email our Commercial Executive, Sam Heaney on sam.heaney@fleetwoodtownfc.com
