Two Fleetwood Town Academy age groups are jetting off to Europe this week to play in tournaments against some of the best Academies in the world, including Spanish giants Barcelona.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the younger Cods in the Academy, with the Under-13s taking on the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City in Mallorca in the East Mallorca Cup, whilst a joint group from the Under-14s and Under-15s head to Naples, Italy to take part in the Fattorie Donna Guilia tournament.
Those on the Naples trip set off from Manchester Airport on Monday morning, and will be there until Friday night before heading back to the Fylde Coast.
During their stay, they will take part in a mini football tournament which will include six groups of four teams, with the Cods taking on Salernitana, Lodigiana and Cavarea - with the top two progressing into the knockout stages.

For the group heading to Spain, the players and members of staff will be jetting off on Wednesday for a five-day trip, with a football tournament the main focus, as well as exploring the local area and taking a tour around the Rafa Nadal museum.
The Under-13s will start their East Mallorca Cup journey on Wednesday 27 March against La Liga giants, Barcelona, which will kick-off at 5:45pm local time. They will play a game on the Tuesday against Manly United before two final games on the 29th against Viva Sports and Neubrandenburg, which will determine if they reach the knockout stages on the weekend.
