Four Fleetwood Town academy players were in action this week in the Preston School Cup, all picking up a winners medal for their respective schools at Deepdale.
Starting with our Under-13s, Rayhaan represented Broughton High School and helped them to win the Jack May Cup at Preston North End by picking up the Man of the Match award for his display in his sides 3-1 win over Archbishop Temple.
With three lads playing for in the Willam Dawson Cup Final, one player in particular stood out and that was our very own, Matty. He picked up the Man of the Match award for his performance, which saw him score one of the five goals in the 5-0 win over St. Cecilias.
Tom and Sam from the club's Under-14s also featured, with Tom also getting on the scoresheet alongisde, Matty for Broughton High School
The Academy would like to congratulate all four players on their cup win this week. It's a huge achievement for all concerned, including the Academy at Fleetwood Town, and Broughton High School. You have represented both parties impeccably.
