Fleetwood United have won promotion to the UAE First Division after winning the Second Division title with a game to spare!
The side based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, played their final game of the season on Saturday 6 April 2024 and won 2-1 to finally get their hands on the Second Division title.
There last match was played at Al Hamirya Club, where the Cods played against Alnujoom FC, and goals from David Webb and Club Captain Ben Pringle made sure it was three points and another win before lifting the trophy.
Fleetwood United won 20 of their 26 games, drawing four and only losing two in the process of claiming the Second Division title. With a goal difference of +48, they won the leagie by five points, ahead of second place, Al Dahra.
