Fleetwood United, our sister club in Dubai, extended their stay at the top of the UAE Third Division after drawing their clash against Zamalek 1-1 at Dubai Sports City.
In what was a big clash at the top of the division, the Dubai Cods had to fight their way back into the game after Vincent Bekoe gave the visitors the lead 20 minutes in.
Midway through the second half, Jean Parfait Ebale Nna levelled the scoring up with his first of the season and, even though Chiekh Dieng saw red, the Cods held on after Emmanuel Dega came on to make his debut and sure up the defence.
With the Dubai Cods staying top of the table after this result, it means they can carry their momentum into their next clash which is an away one against Al Nujoom on Friday 15 April.
