Cods Calendar: What's going on this week

There’s lots going on across the club this week, with a total of six games across our Men’s and Academy teams.

Here is everything you can expect on fleetwoodtownfc.com over the coming week:

MONDAY

12pm - Swansea U21 v Fleetwood Town U21

Fleetwood Town's Development Squad are back in action at the start of the week, and will face Championship side Swansea City at the Landore Training Ground. The young Cods lost to Charlton in their last outing at Poolfoot Farm, and will be looking for a reaction on Monday.

Team news and key moments from the game will be reported on the Academy social media channels, with team news at 11am.

1pm – Charlie Adam’s press conference

The gaffer will face the media with his pre-Blackpool thoughts, alongside a player, and these interviews will be posted on the website and social channels later that day – clips will be posted to social media previewing the game against the Seasiders at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday.

TUESDAY

11am – Fleetwood Town U18 v Burnley U18

Our Under-18s carry on their busy schedule as they are set to line up for their first of two games this week, coming up against the young Clarets in a 11am kick-off at Poolfoot Farm. Mark Yeates’ side played Swansea at the weekend suffered a narrow defeat, with all focus now on the side picking up three points.

Key updates from the game will be shared across the Academy social channels, starting with team news at 11am – regular posts will follow from kick-off, with a post-match report going on our website as soon as possible.

7:45pm - Blackpool FC v Fleetwood Town

Charlie Adam’s Cods will be in action on Tuesday evening as they make the short trip to Bloomfield Road in a 7:45pm kick-off and will look for the all-important three points which could bring down the deficit between Town and League One survival.

Pre-match posts – including previews, injury updates, and streaming information – will be posted on our website and social channels ahead of the game, with team news to be posted at 6:45pm in the usual fashion.

All the usual post-match content including the match report, interviews, and the match gallery, as well as the two-minute highlights package, will be published for you to enjoy if you missed the action.

THURSDAY

The gaffer will face the media with his pre-Northampton Town thoughts, alongside a player, and these interviews will be posted on the website and social channels later that day – clips will be posted to social media previewing the game against the Cobblers at Highbury on Saturday.

FRIDAY

1pm – Peterborough United U21 v Fleetwood Town U21

Our Development Squad are back in action after their game away at Swansea on Monday afternoon. They will be looking to keep pushing up the Professional Development League table in their first campaign in the new set-up.

Key updates from the game will be shared across the Academy social channels, starting with team news at 12pm – regular posts will follow from kick-off, with a post-match report going on our website as soon as possible.

SATURDAY

11am – Bournemouth AFC U18 v Fleetwood Town U18

Our Under-18s will line up for their second Professional Development League fixture of the week on Saturday morning when they head to the South Coast to face the young Cherries in an 11am kick-off. Mark Yeates’ side will be hoping to get a positive result in the week so they can carry some momentum into this fixture.

Key updates from the game will be shared across the Academy social channels, starting with team news at 10am – regular posts will follow from kick-off, with a post-match report going on our website as soon as possible.

3pm - Fleetwood Town v Northampton Town

Charlie Adam’s Cods will be in action on Saturday afternoon as they host Northampton Town at Highbury in a 3pm kick-off and will look for the all-important three points which could bring down the deficit between Town and League One survival.

Pre-match posts – including previews, injury updates, and streaming information – will be posted on our website and social channels ahead of the game, with team news to be posted at 2pm in the usual fashion.
