Fleetwood Town can confirm today's Sky Bet League One clash at home to Cambridge United has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The Club have been in regular dialogue with the EFL and Cambridge United, and due to the forecast predicted, we gave it as long as possible to make a decision.
Both managers met on the playing surface at 10:30am this morning and both seemed happy with the progression of the pre-planned overnight thaw.
It was confirmed at the 12pm inspection that most of the pitch was playable, but there are small sections of the pitch that would be a danger to both sets of players and officials.
In terms of hospitality in the Parkside Suite, this will still be going ahead for those who have paid for their three-course meals.
A new time and date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
