Friday morning saw the launch of the new Onward Card and after day one, sales have already outnumbered those from the two previous years.
Even though the phones have been constantly ringing in the office as fans look to buy their cards, the club shop has also seen a large volume of people come in throughout the day to purchase them in person.
Some of the stand out offers from the Onward Card is that adults will only pay £17 per month, with children paying £6 for acess to all home league matches alongside additional benefits.
The club’s Ticket Office Manager, Steve Metcalf believes Fleetwood are always finding ways to make prices affordable for fans.
He said: “As a football club, we are always trying to make prices more affordable for our fans, and with the headline price of £17 per month for an adult ticket, we feel we have achieved that.
“We have thought long and hard about the pay monthly scheme and we feel it makes it more affordable and more accessible for our supporters, and we hope everyone buys into what we are trying to do.
“It has been very busy and that is what we expected on day one. It has been non-stop for the team and I with the phone calls and form filling, but all in all it has been a very successful day for the club.
“We have done some research in the office today and when we look back over the last two seasons for sales, this has been the best day for tickets bought on day one.”
