Harrison Biggins spoke to the club’s website after making his full league debut in Tuesday night’s narrow 2-1 home defeat to Portsmouth.

Biggins looked composed in central midfield, as he started his first game for the club under caretaker head coach Barry Nicholson.

On his thoughts of the game…
“A disappointing result but we know how important our next run of fixtures is now.

“We need to pick wins up as soon as possible, we played decent football but that doesn’t mean anything if you don’t get the result.

“The manager said we finished the game well, especially in the last 15-20 minutes, but it was not meant to be.”

On his first league start…
“I’m buzzing to get my first start, I’m happy with what I did.

“I enjoyed the night but we need to get results now and that’s the main thing.

“Hopefully I can carry on starting.”

On the team’s solid performance…
“We keep coming in after games saying we have played so well.

“But if you don’t get results then it means nothing.”

On Saturday’s game against MK Dons…
“It’s massive – every game is massive from now on.

“We keep saying the next game is big, but Saturday is massive.

“Tonight could have taken some pressure off it but we have to go and perform on Saturday now.”
