Andy Woolmer has been announced as the referee for Saturday’s Fylde Coast Derby against Blackpool.
The Englishman has refereed 20 games so far this season, with eight of them being League One fixtures. Woolmer has handed out 52 yellow cards, and two red cards, in that time.
The last time he officiated a Fleetwood game was back in January, when Blackburn Rovers ran out 2-1 winners at Highbury, He kept his cards in his pockets that day as none were handed out.
His last appointment in charge of a Blackpool match was their game against Shrewsbury Town in December, which ended 1-0 to the Shropshire side. He gave out three yellow cards that afternoon.
He will be assisted by Philip Dermott and Akil Howson. Ross Joyce is on fourth official duties.
