Fleetwood Town’s Business Club played another charity match, this time against a FTFC Staff Select XI at Highbury Stadium, with all profits going to charity!
Tuesday evening saw the group arrive at the Club’s stadium for their annual end-of-season game, which includes the partners that attended the bi-weekly meetings at Poolfoot Farm - where they exchange details on their current business dealings.
The money raised on the night through donations and tickets sales on the night are all going towards CHUF - a charity for Children's Heart Unit, with their vision to support pioneering services that will positively impact heart families, inspire hope, and enable Heart Heroes to reach their full potential.
Those in attendance got to sit on the Parkside Balcony and watch the full 90 minutes. The Business Club was managed by Town fan and Ticket Office employee, Harrison Brice, with the Staff team led out by Club Secretary, Will Watt.
Town boss Charlie Adam started for the staff team against the Business Club, with former professional and current Under-18s coach Mark Yeates in the team alongside Fleetwood legend, Nathan Pond - who started in the heart of the back line.
With there being plenty of goals and plenty of entertaining moments throughout the match, it was just great to see both teams playing in great spirit, with also raising money for a great cause.
