Fleetwood Town can confirm that young forward Theo Williams has returned to the Club following a loan spell at National League South side Torquay United.
The 20-year-old joined Fleetwood in the summer on a two-year contract from Sheffield United, and after impressive displays in the Development Squad, he made his Town debut at Highbury in the Sky Bet League One fixture against Shrewsbury Town at the end of August.
Williams was sent on loan to Torquay United under the former manager, and this was initally on a one-month loan deal, but it was extended for a further four weeks after impressing Gary Johnson down at Plainmoor.
The forward featured in 12 games and scored three goals in a combination of league and cup competitions, but picked up a minor injury in Devon. He has been recalled and will now be assessed at Poolfoot Farm and continue his rehabilitation to get back fit for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
