Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce forward Junior Quitirna has penned a new deal with the club, which sees him stay on the Fylde Coast until the summer of 2026 with the club holding an option for a further year.

The 23-year-old has committed to another two-and-a-half-years to Fleetwood and everyone is delighted to secure the signature of the young winger, who has featured 24 times for the Cods since arriving from our sister-club Waterford FC a year ago.

Quitirna has quickly become a fans’ favourite after being a constant performer within the side and has netted four goals so far this season against Burton Albion, Cheltenham Town, and Barnsley with a brace coming against the Tykes back in October.

That goal against the Brewers back in September was even nominated for the Goal of the Month award by the EFL when he fired cut inside from the left and curled his effort from the edge into the top right corner of the goal from 20 yards.

The winger will now be staying at the club until the summer of 2026 – congratulations on the new deal, Junior!
