Fleetwood Town's Development Squad will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they welcome Barnsley to Poolfoot Farm in the Professional Development League.
Matt Lawlor's side haven't played since the end of December, and will be raring to get back going on home soil as they welcome the Tykes to the Fylde Coast for a league clash. Town's Under-21s have won five out of their last six matches, with wins over Coventry, Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan and Peterborough.
Barnsley have won their last two matches, with the latest being a 3-0 home win over Crewe Alexandra. With both teams in form, it should be an entertaining game for supporters to watch.
Both Fleetwood Town and Barnsley supporters will be able to watch the action unfold at Town's Training Complex (FY5 4HX) on Tuesday 9 January 2024, with kick-off at 1pm. With some first team players expected to get minutes in their legs, it could be a good chance for fans to see their idols in action.
