Fleetwood Town can confirm our Under-21s' Premier League Cup clash against Newcastle United on Wednesday evening has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Matt Lawlor’s were all set to take on the Premier League side in their cup campaign under the lights but, due to there being standing water on the Highbury turf, the game has had to be postponed.
Details for the rescheduled fixture date to be released in due course.
