Fleetwood Town’s training complex held their annual Christmas Cup tournament at the end of December, and it was another huge success with hundreds in attendance.
With the weather changing and temperatures dropping during the winter holidays, children from across the Fylde Coast and beyond all headed down to Fleetwood Town’s training ground to compete in the site’s annual grassroots competition.
All age groups played on the 4G pitches at Poolfoot Farm, with matches taking place on a regular basis to ensure every player got valuable minutes on the pitch.
The Under-7s to Under-10s played on Wednesday 27 December, with the Under-11s and Under-12s playing the following day on Thursday 28 December.

Under-7s Cup – Poulton Town U7 Pumas
Under-7s Plate – Fylde Coast Soccer U7 Messi’s
Under-8s Cup – Workington Juniors U8 Greys
Under-8s Plate – Fylde Coast Soccer U8 Figo’s
Under-9s Cup – Fylde Coast Soccer U9 Xavi’s
Under-9s Plate – SKFC U9 Blues
Under-10s Cup – SKFC U10 Blues
Under-10s Plate – Fleetwood Town Juniors U10 Blues
Under-11s Cup – Cadley U11 Reds
Under-11s Plate – Halton Junior U11 Bulls
U12s Cup – River Juniors U12 Jogo
U12s Plate – Lytham Juniors U12 Blues
It was a brilliant cup with lots of talent on show in the various age groups. Everyone at Poolfoot Farm hopes that everyone enjoyed their time playing on the site and hope to see you all again in the near future.
