Fleetwood Town youth coach Nathan Pond spoke to us on Monday afternoon to preview Wednesday's Premier League Cup clash at home to Newcastle United's Under-21s.
Our Development Squad’s Premier League Cup campaign continues this week as Matt Lawlor’s side look to take the game to the Magpies after narrowly losing last time out in the group stage against Nottingham Forest back in late December, even though Sam Glenfield got on the score sheet that day.
The game will take place on Wednesday 31 January 2024 for a 7pm kick-off and you can be in the stands to watch the game live from the stands at Highbury.
