Fleetwood Town can confirm that young midfielder Bosembo Namputu has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Bradford Park Avenue on a initial one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old will make his first move into men's football with this move, and having been a key part on Mark Yeates' side this season in the Under-18s Professional Development League, this move will help develop Namputu on the pitch as well as off the pitch.
Having joined from Norwich City aged 16, he is now 18-month into his scholarship and starred in the recent FA Youth Cup match at Highbury, which saw Town narrowly lose out 2-1 to Premier League outfit, Liverpool.
Jack Higgins, Fleetwood Town's Academy Manager said on the move: "We are really pleased for Bosembo getting this loan move. It's a great opportunity for him to get first team football at a good level and we are looking forward to seeing how he approaches the loan move.
"We will be supporting Bosembo from a far by watching his games and we can't wait to see him in action on Saturday.|
The midfielder is eligible for selection on Saturday afternoon for his new side, who will face Morpeth Town away in a 3pm kick-off.
We'd like to wish Bosembo all the best whilst at the Horsfall Community Stadium.
