Head Coach Charlie Adam and new signing Ronan Coughlan both went out into the local community on Thursday afternoon and joined in to a Community Sports Camp.
Within the first week of signing for all four of them, they didn’t hold back as they joined up with a football camp, hosted by our Community Trust at the Club’s Training Complex, to boost their connection with the people of Fleetwood.
First down was our new number 33, Coughlan, and played a bit of football with the youngsters with one of the kids there showing off some brilliant goalkeeping skills after a penalty shoot-out.
Not long after, it was the turn of the staff as Charlie joined up with Community Coach Mike Tallentire, spoke to everyone at the camp, and joined in some games in the rain on the 5-a-side pitches at Poolfoot Farm.
On the visit, Mike said: “It was great to see Ronan and Charlie come down to visit the kids on the sports camp this afternoon – to see everyone work together even in the early days after they all signed on with the club is great for the community!”
Real signs of the ‘Town, Team, Together’ mentality shown by all ahead of the Derby County clash on Saturday – to get your tickets for the fixture, which will be live on Sky Sports at 12:30pm, you can sort your tickets HERE.
