Fleetwood Town can confirm that defender Drew Baker has left the club and has joined non-league side Macclesfield FC on a permanent transfer.
Baker joined the club in January 2022 from Northern Premier League Premier Division side FC United of Manchester, and went on to play 12 times for the Cod Army, making his debut against Premier League side Everton in the Carabao Cup at Highbury in August the same year.
The 21-year-old was sent on loan to the League of Ireland last season, where he spent time at Premier Division outfit Bohemians, and then a brief spell at our sister club, Waterford FC.
