Fleetwood Town can confirm young defender Finlay Armstrong has extended his stay at National League side Rochdale AFC for another month.
The 20-year-old, who initially joined Dale in the lead-up to Christmas, has started all four games for his loan side, featuring in wins over AFC Fylde and Kidderminster Harriers, as well as a draw on his debut against FC Halifax Town.
The full-back had a couple of notable moments throughout those games as he flashed a shot narrowly wide from 25 yards against Halifax, and played in the game where Ian Henderson netted his 200th goal in English football.
Armstrong will now ready himself for Rochdale’s next fixture, which will be at the Crown Oil Arena against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday 3 February.
