Head coach Charlie Adam has named his side for this afternoon's Sky Bet League One clash against Port Vale at Highbury.

The Cods have made three changes to the side that drew against Wycombe Wanderers last time out as Ryan Broom, Harvey Macadam, and new signing Elijah Campbell come in to replace Barnsley-bound Josh Earl, the suspended Promise Omochere, and the injured Harry Boyes.

Alongside new signing Campbell in the squad today are both Gavin Kilkenny from AFC Bournemouth and Imari Samuels from Brighton & Hove Albion, who take up spaces on the bench with Ryan Graydon, who has just returned from his long spell out due to an injury.

It's a big moment for our number four today as Brendan Wiredu makes his home debut as Fleetwood captain, after first donning the armband in our away clash against the Chairboys at the end of January, and he will be hoping to pick up three points in front of the Cod Army.

Here's how the Cods are lining up this afternoon:

Town XI: Lynch (GK), Johnston, Wiredu (C), Lawal, Campbell, Stockley, Mayor, Broom, Heneghan, Macadam, Coughlan.

Bench: McMullan (GK), Kilkenny, Samuels, Quitirna, Holgate, Graydon, Patterson.
