Fleetwood Town can confirm our Development Squad’s Premier League Cup clash against Newcastle United has been rearranged and will take place on Friday 2 February at Clitheroe’s EcoGiants Stadium (7pm kick-off).
The match against the Young Magpies was set to take place on Wednesday 31 January at Highbury Stadium, however, the game had to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Both sides have now agreed to play the fixture later in the week, with the venue changing to Clitheroe’s after their application to be an additional venue was accepted by the Premier League.
Tickets for the fixture will be on sale on the night, with supporters able to use either cash or card at the turnstiles. Adult tickets will be £5, and concessions (seniors and under-16s) are set at just £3.
