Fleetwood Town can confirm young forward Maleace Asamoah has joined our sister club in Ireland, Waterford FC on loan.
Asamoah, who has featured nine times in all competitions for the Cods this season, heads over the Irish Sea to the Blues in search of first-team football, and to be part of their return to the League of Ireland Premier Division following promotion in the 2023 season.
He is following in the footsteps of teammate Barry Baggley, who rejoined Keith Long's side in January, and the forward will now be in contention for their pre-season friendly match this evening against Treaty United, as well as for their league opener at the RSC next week against Shelbourne FC.
