Six Fleetwood Town players were in action over the weekend for their respective loan clubs and here's all the match details you need to know from around the grounds.

In the four games that our players featured in last weekend, there's only one place to start and that is in the big six-pointer National League North clash which saw King's Lynn Town make the trip to Gloucester. It was a close affair until loanee Owen Devonport thumbled the ball over the line in the 58th minute of the game after a well worked move down the right flank.

With teammate George Morrison also in action - and featuring for the full 90 minutes, King's Lynn managed to grab the all important second goal before the hosts Gloucester scored late on to make it a nervy ending for the boys in Blue. Both players worked hard on and off the ball, and with three points collected, Saturday's win sees King's Lynn move closer to exiting the relegation zone.

Moving across the Irish Sea to Waterford, Keith Long's side played their penultimate pre-season friendly match at the RSC ahead of their return to the Irish Premier Division. Maleace Asamoah - who joined the Blues on loan on Friday night, played 45 minutes in the match against Treaty United and assisted a goal and played a huge part in another from the right side, helping Waterford FC to a 3-2 win on home soil.

Barry Baggley also featured on Friday evening, and he played 45 minutes in the heart of the midfield and was once again solid, breaking up play and setting Waterford FC on the attack with some superb forward passes.

Town's Under-21s goalkeeper Tom Donaghy was also in action this weekend for his new side, Atherton Collieries. The keeper was thrown straight into the starting XI in their home match against Gainsborough Trinity. The 20-year-old pulled off some great saves throughout the match and when called upon from 12-yards, he got a hand to the original spot-kick, but couldn't do anything to prevent the Gainsborough striker from tapping home from close range.

Cian Hayes was back in the Rochdale side at the weekend, but it was one to forget for the Fleetwood loanee and his teammates in the Manchester derby. It was a short trip to Altrincham for Dale, but it was made to feel long as they suffered a 3-0 defeat, with former Town forward Chris Conn-Clarke scoring the third goal midway through the second half.

The young winger did play 76 minutes in the game before being substituted, but during his time on the pitch, Hayes made some great runs down the right flank, he caused Altrincham's keeper some problems with efforts on goal, but he couldn't help his side get anything on the road.
