Fleetwood Town are pleased to announce midfielder Xavier Simons has joined the club on loan for the season from Championship side Hull City.
Simons, who has been in the England international setup since the Under-15s level, has recently made his debut for the Under-20s where he helped round out a 1-0 win over Tunisia.
The 20-year-old started his professional career at Premier League side Chelsea before making the move to the Tigers this summer, after a successful loan spell, and has since played 16 times for them in all competitions.
Town’s latest recruit impressed Hull boss Liam Rosenior during their mid-season trip to Turkey last season and has made his way to the Fylde Coast for yet another test, with the deal being until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
Welcome to the Cods, Xavier!
