Fleetwood Town’s Development Squad are back in league action on Tuesday afternoon as they are set for a top-of-the-table clash against Sheffield United in a 2pm kick-off.
The Under-21s will be looking to bounce back after their recent run of form in both the league and the cups, with the result last time out ending in a 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League Cup on Friday evening.
Matt Lawlor’s side currently sit in second place in the Professional Development League table, with nine points from their opening four games, but will have to keep their wits about them when they face the Blades as they’ve netted 20 goals in as many games.
Please note, the game at Sheffield United’s Academy building on Firshill Crescent will be treated as a behind-closed-doors fixture meaning supporters will not be able to attend on Tuesday.
