Fleetwood Town’s Development Squad are in action this afternoon when they travel to Merseyside to face Everton in the opening round of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.
The fixture, which is set to kick-off at 12pm, follows a loss on the road to Queens Park Rangers on Monday so the players will be wanting to get back to winning ways when they get to Finch Farm Training Ground this afternoon.
Before that loss, the young Cods were on an unbeaten streak in the league, and found themselves top of the division in their first year competing in it, as wins against Cardiff City, Watford, and Ipswich Town propelled them up there.
