Manager Lee Johnson has named his side for this evening's Sky Bet League One clash against Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Town have made four changes from the defeat at the weekend, with one of them being Brendan Wiredu who steps into the side - in place of Xavier Simons - and is looking like he will be part of a midfield three alongside Josh Vela and Danny Mayor.

It's a new-look backline for the Cods this evening as two changes to the back four that started against Lincoln City last time out. Both Bosun Lawal and Josh Earl keep their places, with Connor Teale and Ben Heneghan replacing the injured Carl Johnston and the suspended Toto Nsiala.

Up top, Adam Montgomery is still trying to get back up to full fitness after making his debut against The Imps but misses out on this clash with The Royals as Promise Omochere has taken his place and will line up with Junior Quitirna and Jack Marriott as a front three.

Here's the full matchday squad for this afternoon's match against Reading:

Town XI: Lynch (GK), Wiredu, Lawal, Vela (C), Mayor, Marriott, Quitirna, Heneghan, Omochere, Teale, Earl.

Bench: McMullan (GK), Robertson, Tshimanga, Stockley, Broom, Rooney, Patterson.
