Fleetwood Town can confirm young striker Will Russ has today joined Hyde United on a three-month loan following the club recalling him from his loan spell at Marine.
Russ made 15 appearances for the Northern Premier League Premier Division side and scored two goals having joined Marine earlier in the season. The forward returned to Fleetwood on Monday and will head straight back out on loan to another Northern Premier League side.
He joined United back in January 2023 on an initial month loan, and went on to impress those at Ewen Fields by scoring five goals in the seven matches during the month spell. He later extended his loan deal until the end of the season.
Fleetwod and Hyde have had history in the past, with the Cod Army signing Paddy Lane back in June 2021 and defender Sam Bird joining Hyde on a loan deal in January 2022.
Russ will now join up with his former teammates for another loan spell and will be eligible for tonight's league clash against Ilkeston Town.
