Fleetwood Town can confirm defender Bosun Lawal has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21s ahead of their UEFA European Qualifier against Latvia.
Ireland’s Under-21s head coach Jim Crawford has named the loanee in his 22-man squad which is set for the international camp in Riga, with their game set to take place on Friday 13 October with kick-off at 1pm (GMT).
Alongside Bosun are Josh Keeley (Tottenham Hotspur), James Abankwah (Udinese), Ed McJannet (Lecce), Johnny Kenny (Shamrock Rovers, on loan from Celtic), Armstrong Oko-Flex (FC Zürich), and more.
