Take a brave step forward for your local hospice this November as Trinity Hospice and Poolfoot Farm come together for a live firewalk on Saturday 11 November.
The Firewalk is the ultimate test of courage as you walk on hot embers at a mean temperature of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit! This has no tricks or special effects; just you and the fire. Fleetwood Town hosted this event two years ago, which saw around 60 people hot-footed across embers as hot as 600C at Trinity’s Firewalk event at Poolfoot Farm.
One participant who attended two-years ago said: “Preparing yourself to walk across fire is no mean feat, but everyone had a fantastic time and really got into the spirit on Saturday night. They [Trinity Hospice & members of the public] were incredibly supportive of each other and spurred on by the amazing spectators they bought with them."
This event is a unique and exhilarating experience and open to everyone. It's also ideal for anyone looking to do something out of their comfort zone in 2023, mark a milestone occasion, take on a challenge and raise money in memory of a loved one, and most importantly, support Trinity Hospice.
