Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce young midfielder George Morrison has extended his loan at National League North side King’s Lynn Town until February.
Morrison, who has been a constant figure in the King’s Lynn side since joining them just over a month ago, has become a fan favourite at his loan side, with the supporters chanting his name during their 3-1 win over Scunthorpe United where he netted a brace in the second half.
At only 18 years old, he’s been given his plaudits from opposition players, coaches, and news outlets during his eight-game stint so far at the side from The Walks – being named Man of the Match in four consecutive home games in that run as well.
Manager Adam Lakeland said this after one of his performances: “He’s been a valuable addition to the squad here at King’s Lynn. I’ve spoken previously about my relationship with Fleetwood, who have produced a lot of good players over the last two or three years.
"When you watch George play, it’s hard to believe he has just turned 18 as he plays with such maturity in his game and knows how to correct his mistakes.”
Keep up the good work over at The Linnets, George!
