Fleetwood Town can confirm defender Bosun Lawal has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21s ahead of their double-header against Norway and Italy.
Ireland’s Under-21s head coach Jim Crawford has named the loanee in his 24-man squad which is set for two EURO Qualifiers whilst on camp in both Norway and Italy.
Bosun - who has featured in all the games so far this campaign - has helped guide Ireland to top of Group A but face a trip to Drammen on Friday 17 November, before returning to Cork, Ireland to play Italy the following Tuesday night.
Fans will be able to watch the qualifier against the Norwegians live on RTE (5pm kick-off), and they will also be able to head down to Turner's Cross with over 3,500 fans already securing their tickets for the game.
