Fleetwood Town manager Lee Johnson sat down with the Club and BBC Radio Lancashire on Thursday afternoon to preview Saturday's Sky Bet League One match against Stevenage.

Johnson has guided his side to six matches unbeaten in all competitons, with the latter match being a 3-0 home win over Exeter City at Highbury Stadium. Goals from Ryan Broom, Brendan Wiredu and Phoenix Patterson sealed victory earlier in the month.

Town's Sky Bet League One clash at Bristol Rovers was postponed last week due to a number of players being out on international duty, but the time off has given Johnson the chance to visit Dubai and the Fleetwood United team in the United Arab Emirates, as well as take in the Under-18s FA Youth Cup clash on Wednesday at Morecambe.

Here's what Lee had to say in his pre-match press conference:

On Stevenage this weekend...

"Nothing has surprised me with Steve Evans [Stevenage's manager] as he has been a very successful managaer at the many Clubs he has worked with over the years.

"Stevenage has a really strong identity, and they are able to recruit and maximum the players and their attributes that formula has worked, and for Saturday will be a another big test and a slightly different challenge based on that identity.

"We will need to win first balls, tidy up on the second balls and I know that is easier said than done against a side that are well drilled.

"We will need the paitence from our supporters on Saturday but also they can be excited about our form and individuals confidence levels so it will be an interesting game which could be end to end."

On his trip to Dubai and getting involved within the Fleetwood Football Group...

"I think it's the only way to get a feel for a football club. I still need to learn a lot about the whole group which is amazing for the side of football club at Fleetwood.

"This is an innovative club and there's a lot of success happening around other fields with Waterford FC having just got promoted to the Irish Premier Division,  I have been out to Dubai and Fleetwood United are top of he league over there and then there was success ijn the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday.

"Then when you look at the First Team, we have improved dramatically as well and it feels like a good place to be at the moment but you can never get too confident or relax and the next point of action for us is Stevenage on Saturday ."
