Fleetwood Town’s Former Players Association are heading back to Poolfoot Farm for their monthly catch-up in a week's time, this time for their annual Christmas do.
The FPA, which normally meets on the first Thursday of every month, are back on-site once again next week and will be hoping to have the same attendance as the last meeting.
As a recap of the last meeting, quizmaster Kevin Byrne took to the stage to play one of his favourite games, Higher or Lower - with one of the members providing a brand-new board ahead of time.
The game didn’t last too long as all three players didn’t manage to get past three cards, making it less of a spectacle than Kev would have liked it to be, but at least it gave everyone a good laugh in the latter stages of the meet!
The group then gathered for a team photo inside Poolfoot Farm as the temperature dropped, members grabbed a cup of coffee and started reminiscing on old times, looking back at memorabilia in the form of photographs, teammates, and match programmes. The meeting then ended with the group watching the first-team train on the Elite Pitches.
Existing and new members are welcome to Poolfoot Farm (FY5 4HX), with the meeting taking place between 10am-12pm on Thursday 7 December, we can't wait to see you all there!
