Fleetwood Town’s Former Players Association met up once again at the Club’s training complex, Poolfoot Farm, on Thursday morning and caught up for the first time in four weeks.
It was a brilliant meeting from start to finish, as Phil Brown and Stuart Murdoch both made their opening remarks before the FPA Secretary took the reins of the monthly quiz, which was dominated by certain individuals (you know who you are)!
Then, the normal quizmaster Kevin Byrne took to the stage as the three winners from the quiz took part in one of Kev’s favourite games, Higher or Lower, with one of the members providing a brand-new board ahead of time.
The game didn’t last too long as all three players didn’t manage to get past three cards, making it less of a spectacle than Kev would have liked it to be, but at least it gave everyone a good laugh in the latter stages of the meet!
Finally, it was time to get everyone in position for the group photo, which was extremely difficult due to the number of players there and the weather outside, but we managed to get everyone sorted and take the picture, which went straight into the archive.
Thanks to all the members who turned up for the monthly meeting this time out, we look forward to welcoming you back on Thursday 7 December, which will be the Christmas special – see you again soon!
