The sky is seeing stars after a magnificent firework display!

Fleetwood Town’s annual Fireworks Extravaganza was another brilliant success on Thursday evening, with a full packed out Parkside Stand enjoying an evening of live entertainment and amazing fireworks!

The event - which was sponsored by Affinity Lancashire - saw the evening kick-off with town’s very own The Jeps - who got the atmosphere going right from the first note, lifting the moods of everyone there. Playing classic hits and more up to date music from Harry Stiles and 'As It Was' to many more of your family favourites.

Whilst those were singing in the stands, a packed out Parkside Lounge enjoyed the brilliant food provided by the club’s chef on the night. Drinks were flowing and you could tell people were loving their evening at Highbury despite the wind and tricke of rain outside.

Magician Harry Moulding took to the stage in the hospitality and it's fair to say he took many by surprise with his party tricks and amazing card tricks. Harry went around all tables in the lounge and get all involved from the kids to the adults. This was to wet the appetite for all those ahead of the finale on the pitch.

Later in the evening, young Lucas Williams took to the stage and he played his part on the night. Lucas played here on Wednesday nn Jim's Bar prior to the Blackpool match and we wanted him back again! He played songs by Oasis which went down well with those dancing in their seats.

The main stage act of The Deadbeats came out last and did what they do best! With the energetic performance - which they are known for - people joined in and even sung along to their favourite hits from the stands. With Queen's 'We Will Rock You' and a remix from Red Hot Chilli Peppers' and Wheatus' songs, the place was bouncing (literally bouncing)!

The finale was a spectacle as Phenomenal Fireworks yet again showed us why they are used year on year as they provided the ‘wow’ factor on the Fylde Coast. The ground was in total silence as they watch the end of night show as they couldn’t take their eyes of it.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who attended and we hope you enjoyed your evening as much as we did – we hope to do this all again for the community next November!

A big shoutout to Club Photographers, Sam Fielding and Adam Gee for capturing the night beautifully.
