Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce both Barry Baggley and Harry Wilson have been called up to the Northern Ireland Under-21s ahead of their clash against England next week.
Both midfielders have featured for their nation before at various age groups and now they will have the opportunity to gain another international cap on Tuesday 21 November (7:45pm kick-off) alongside Carl Johnston and Stephen McMullan who were named in the initial call-up list earlier this month.
This now means that Town have seven players out with their respective countries this week – six at Northern Ireland across three age groups and another one with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s – who are listed below:
Stephen McMullan (Northern Ireland Senior & Under-21s)
Barry Baggley (Northern Ireland Under-21s)
Carl Johnston (Northern Ireland Under-21s)
Bosun Lawal (Republic of Ireland Under-21s)
Harry Wilson (Northern Ireland Under-21s)
Jack Doherty (Northern Ireland Under-19s)
Sam Glenfield (Northern Ireland Under-19s)
Baggley and Wilson are now set to join up with the rest of the Young Boys in Green in Birmingham, where they will train until the fixture against the Young Lions at Goodison Park on Tuesday 21 November.
Good luck lads and congratulations on the call-ups!
