Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies have appointed former goalkeeper Scott Davies as their official Goalkeeper Coach ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Davies, 36, was with the Cods between 2010 and 2015 and was an integral part of the side that gained promotion to the Football League back in 2012 and played with the likes of Jamie Vardy, Steve McNulty, and many more.
At the end of the first season in League Two, he managed to pick up a hat-trick of awards, having only missed one game that season as he was named the Players, Supporters, and Junior Cod Army Player of the Season.
The Wrens Ladies teams have had a brilliant last 12 months, with Davies already setting some time aside to help out the keepers in all three teams, as the Reserves won the league and are in the final of the cup, and the other two sides - first team and development squad – also had strong seasons this time out.
