Fleetwood Town can confirm the club are set to host Preston North End on Tuesday 25 July in a pre-season friendly at Highbury Stadium.
With the summer in full swing and fixture release day just around the corner, it’s time to start announcing the fixtures Scott Brown’s men will be playing in July ahead of the new campaign.
Adding onto a behind-closed-doors fixture against sister club Waterford FC, Championship side Preston will make the short trip down the road at the end of July for a 7pm kick-off as preparations for the 2023/24 season will be well underway.
A familiar face is on the books for the Lilywhites as Ched Evans, who scored 37 goals in 99 appearances whilst playing for Fleetwood between July 2018 and January 2021, before he made the move to the side from Deepdale.
