Jay Lynch picks up two awards at the End of Season Awards Night

Town goalkeeper Jay Lynch stole the show at Fleetwood Town’s End of Season Awards Night on Thursday, claiming two trophies for his performances this season.

Lynch was named the Players' Player of the Season, as well as the Official Supporters Club’s Player of the Season last night. It was also announced that he will take up the number one shirt for the 2023/24 season.

Brendan Wiredu also won an award last night, claiming the Community Player of the Year award, for his outstanding work in the local community.

Shaun Rooney was named the Sponsors Player of the Year, with Josh Earl receiving the Chairman's Player of the Year award off Andy Pilley.

It was great to have three of the Under-18s with us on the night, all celebrating their awards picked up at the Academy Awards Night on Wednesday.
