Fleetwood Town can confirm after a succession of positive performances, Alfreton Town have extended the loan stay for young defender Connor Teale until the end of the season.
20-year-old, Teale, first joined the National League North side midway through last month and not only did he make his debut on the day he signed, but he also managed to keep a clean sheet in the game against Hereford.
The defender has been ever-present in Billy Heath’s squad and has played a pivotal role in the side’s rise up the table as they have kept four clean sheets in their last six league games, picking up three wins in that time.
Derbyshire-based side, Alfreton, find themselves in ninth position in the league with as many as four games in hand over some of the teams ahead of them and they will be fully focused on their league clash against Bradford Park Avenue this evening.
