Fleetwood Town International Academy have had a very successful first half of the year with a record amount of players attending the FTIFA Pro Experience programme.
With the Fleetwood Town Football Group going from strength to strength in the United Kingdom, Dubai and South Africa, in the first six months of the calendar year, it has seen a record number of aspiring footballers take part in the pro-experience programme.
Academy Manager, Mick Horsfall said on the recent success: “Our player progression has been wonderful over this season. The opportunity to place players in semi-professional settings to allow them to realise the competitiveness of UK football was brilliant for their development.
"We thank our partner clubs for allowing the boys to join their squads and to showcase their abilities. The feedback has been great from the officials within those clubs, and it's great to see the players have represented FTIFA and our Club impeccably.
"Alongside the progression in the U.K, we have had success in supporting players on their journey beyond FTIFA U.K. These are exciting opportunities for the players and it will without doubt test them and hopefully lead them into professional settings in the near future.”

Archie McGregor & Frankie McGregor – Been taken on trial at A League sides in Australia
As well as those above, a number of players have had trials in Dubai
FTIFA now move into the second half of the year, with a new group of players arriving over the coming months.
