Fleetwood Town’s Carabao Cup First Round draw number, as well as the group stage for the EFL Trophy, have now been confirmed ahead of the new season.
In terms of the Carabao Cup, Town will be ball number 13 in the northern draw that will take place live on Sky Sports at 2:30pm on Thursday 22 June, where a total of 36 fixtures will be drawn for Round One, with all 72 EFL Clubs.
The Round One draw will see teams drawn in Northern and Southern sections, with matches scheduled to take place week commencing 7 August.
With the EFL Trophy, Fleetwood have been placed in Group D with Wigan Athletic, also from League One, and Tranmere Rovers from League Two both confirmed in the group. The group stage draw will take place live on Sky Sports at 11:30am on the same day as Fixture Release Day.
Eight sides have also been invited to the competition this year one of the following will finish off the group: Everton, Liverpool, Leicester City, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, and Wolves (all Under-21 sides).
