Fleetwood Town’s Scottish fanbase, the McCod Army, have been at it again with yet another good deed ahead of the new season as they have raised enough money to give out 10 Onward Cards to young supporters!
This is an initiative the Scots do every single season, and they’ve gone large this time out by raising over £500 for local youths to be able to stand in the Memorial Stand with their parents.
In the cost-of-living crisis we are all in at the moment, this will mean the world to families in the FY7 area, and they have already dedicated two of them to Supporters Club members’ children Carol Ann Evans and Jonathon Tombs, with seven being handed to the Club’s SLO, Wayne Bibby, to hand out to those who need them.
The final ticket will be put up on a charity football card over on the supporters’ Facebook fan group, The Cod Army, so if you would like to take part in this brilliant initiative, feel free to do so!
