Fleetwood Town are pleased to announce the signing of young full-back Finlay Armstrong who will join our Development Squad from Premier League side Burnley.
The 20-year-old arrives at Town with considerable first-team experience for his age as he has already spent time on loan at Padiham, Clitheroe, FC United of Manchester, and Curzon Ashton during his time at the Clarets.
Not only did Armstrong progress through the academy at Burnley, but he also earned back-to-back professional contracts and now the full-back will join up with Matt Lawlor’s Development Squad on a one-year deal, with the club holding an option for a further year.
