Fleetwood Town can confirm defender Danny Andrew has left the club and will now join Cambridge United for the 2023/24 season.
The 32-year-old departs Highbury Stadium having made 39 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring once, a stunning strike that earned Town a point away at Morecambe.
Andrew made 195 in all competitions, scoring 14 goals in his two spells at the club, which started back in 2014 when he joined from Macclesfield for an undisclosed fee.
Andrew re-joined the club in 2019 on an initial three-year deal which was extended to the end of the 2021/22 season for a further two years.
The defender currently sits 5th in the club's all-time EFL appearances charts, one ahead of Town legend Nathan Pond.
